Coffeyville continues to be just one step away from the top spot in the latest NJCAA D1 men's basketball poll. The Red Raven men earned three first-place votes this week, but are still ranked behind South Plains College out of Texas.

Coffeyville is 12-0 on the season and picked up Jayhawk Conference victories last week over Cloud County and Allen County. Cowley, Coffeyville's opponent for Saturday, moved up one spot to #15. Other Jayhawk Conference teams that received votes include Butler and Hutchinson.

In addition to Coffeyville, Labette County's women came in at #2 in the D2 women's poll. The Cardinal women are 9-0 on the year.
