FKHS Wrestlers Compete at State

Field Kindley High School brought home some hardware over the weekend, as three wrestlers competed at the state tournament in Salina.

Brady White finished first at 285 pounds and became a state champion. He capped off an undefeated senior season (32-0) that saw him enter the tournament as the top-ranked heavyweight in Kansas at class 4A. White defeated wrestlers out of Abiliene and Colby before taking down Gabriel Bowers of Scott City in the first place match.

In addition to White, two others brought home medals. Ethan Camp finished sixth place at 182 pounds, and Alisa Reck became Coffeyville's first ever female state medalist by finishing fifth at 120 pounds.
