Nado Boy's Season Comes to an End, Girls Advance

The Coffeyville boy's basketball season comes to an end as they fall to Independence 60-56. It was a back and forth game for the first half with multiple lead changes and ties, but the Bulldogs found themselves on top at halftime 29-27.

After a strong start to the second half Indy got up by as much as 11. Coffeyville was eventually able to cut it to 2 with 30 seconds left and a chance to tie or take the lead. Tariq Logan's three for Coffeyville was just short giving the Bulldogs the victory.

Indy was led by a 25 point performance by Easton Ewing. Three Nado scored in double digits led by 21 from Caden Herring, 15 from Logan and Freshman Za Logan had his first career double-digit performance with 12.

The Coffeyville girls beat Parsons 59-54 and will move on to face Labette County on Wednesday at 7:00pm. Adyson Peck and Kylie Speer had 20 each for the Lady Nado.
