The Caney Valley Bullpups got out to a quick 11-0 and never looked back as they beat the Fredonia Yellowjackets 62-35. The Bullpups were paced by junior guard Jack Billingsley with 18 points including this 1st quarter three-pointer. The Bullpups were also led by Jace Scott who had 11 points and Ridic Martin with 9 points.
The Yellowjackets struggled with scoring including a scoreless drought of nearly 6 minutes across the first two-quarters of play that was finally ended with a 6-0 run at the end of the period. John Milligan led the Yellowjacket attack including this shot from the corner in the 3rd quarter. Milligan finished the game with 17 points while Brayden O'Neal chipped in five points.
The Bullpups moved to 10-7 and will have Wednesday off before finishing their regular season with their 5th game in seven days as they travel to Chautauqua County to square off against the Sedan Blue Devils.
