Nado 0-2 at Labette

Coffeyville drops both on the road to Labette County as the Lady Nado fall 60-30 and the Nado boys 68-64. The Labette County girls opened the game on a 12-0 and never looked back holding a 33-14 lead at halftime. Junior Madison Brannin had 18 of her 21 points in the first half. Coach Anita Walker says they knew Labette was the team to beat this season.

In the boy's matchup, the Nado trailed by 5 at halftime 33-28, but Labette opened the second half strong and quickly grew their lead to double digits. Coffeyville changed their game up offensively focusing inside as Caden Herring had a career-high 30 points. The Nado would get to as close as 1 with under a minute left but just couldn't quite overcome the Grizzlies. Coach Tyler Thompson says he's proud of how the team handled the game tonight. The girls and the boys both back in action on Thursday in their final regular-season game at Pittsburg.
