Coffeyville is continuing its ascent up the NJCAA rankings.

The men's basketball team now comes in at #2 in the latest Top 25 poll. The Red Ravens picked up two wins last week, a dominating 90-51 victory over Colby and a solid 65-58 victory over a then-ranked Dodge City squad. They're 10-0 on the season and 8-0 in Jayhawk Conference play.

The previously ranked-second team, Pearl River Community College out of Mississippi, dropped a game to unranked-foe Southwest Mississippi, clearing the way for the Ravens to take over the slot. Coffeyville continues to sit behind South Plains, who remained undefeated last week to move to 8-0 on its season.

The team will be in action twice more this week. On Wednesday, Coffeyville will welcome an Eastern division foe for the first time in Cloud County. On Saturday, Coffeyville will travel to Iola to take on Allen County.
