In a game that literally came down to the last shot, the #2 Erie Red Devils were able to outlast the Caney Valley Bullpups 50-48 in overtime Friday night.

 

Erie's game plan was obvious from the start as they were going to go inside early and often to Eric Dillinger to try and overpower the outsized Bullpups as Dillinger finished the game with 17 points.

 

The Bullpups were able to hang in the game by attacking the glass. Jace Scott ended up with 11 points in the game and none were bigger than a monster 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter.

 

The game would end up going into overtime and in the final seconds with Caney Valley trailing by two, Erie's Dawson Lehman missed a pair of free throws and Scott has a chance to send it into double overtime.
