Red Ravens Stay Perfect Despite Sloppy Performance

The Coffeyville Red Raven's men team stayed perfect after an 83-61 win over NW Tech Saturday afternoon. Although they got what can be considered a blowout win, it was sloppy for the majority of the contest.

It wasn't until about six minutes left in the second half until they started to pull away. Coming into the contest, NW Tech had been averaging 22.3 turnovers per game which were the most in the conference. The Red Ravens began taking advantage and got some breakaway layups towards the end of the contest to help seal the win.

Five players reached double-digit scoring for Coffeyville with Freshman Blaise Keita leading the way with 17 with eight rebounds. Hayden Brittingham had 12 points, Bostyn Holt had 11, Markeith Browning also had 11 and Larry White had ten.

The Red Ravens improved to 6-0 in conference play and 8-0 on the regular season as they host Colby on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
