Blue Devils Burn Central Burden

After a sluggish first half, the Sedan Blue Devils offense exploded for 44-second half points to turn a tie ballgame at the half into a blowout as Blue Devils ran away from Central Burden by a score of 66-42. The Raiders controlled most of the first half with freshman guard Jace Wunderlich scoring 21 points to lead all scorers including this late 2nd quarter three-point shot.

The Sedan offense would finally erupt in the second half with Keaton Dickens scoring 16 points, Eli Campbell with 11 points, and Dameion Hatton with 20 points, including a 3-point play that put the Blue Devils up by 10 from which they never looked back.

Sedan moves to 9-3 on the season and sits just half a game back of Belle Plaine for 2nd place in the Garden Plain sub-state standings. Sedan returns to action Friday night hosting the red hot Erie Red Devils who boast a 13-1 record.
