The Nado boys despite trailing by as many as 15 points in the second half fought all the way back to make it a one-possession game, but fell just short losing 58-53.
Coffeyville opened up the game strong offensively and lead for most of the first half before Ottawa would go on a run a hold a 28-20 lead at halftime. Coffeyville went on a run of their own capped off by a Tariq Logan three that cut the lead down to two.
Ottawa would lead by 3 with just over two minutes left in the game and would stall almost and minute and a half before the Nado were finally forced to foul pulling the game just out of reach. Noah McCullough led Ottawa with 15. Logan had 27 points followed by Caden Herring with 13 points. Coffeyville has the rest of the week off and will be back in action next Tuesday at Independence.
