High school basketball is back in the state of Kansas tonight with two Southeast Kansas League girls games and three SEK League Boys games. Field Kindley and Independence will both have their first league games of the year tonight.
FKHS travels to Chanute to take on the Blue Comets. Nado girls are 1-3 on the season and coming off a win over Sedan. The Chanute girls are 3-1 and 1-0 in league play. The Nado boys are 0-2 on the season as they face a 3-1 Chanute team who is 1-0 in league play. Those games can be heard on Sonshine 98.9 starting at 6:00pm.
Indy will travel to Parsons as the 2-2 Lady Bulldogs will take on 0-3 Parsons and the 0-3 Indy boys will face the 3-2 Vikings. The Pittsburg at Fort Scott girls game has been postponed to January 14th but the 1-3 Pittsburg boys will take on 2-3 Fort Scott.
