Wichita State men's basketball head coach Gregg Marshall decided to resign after allegations of physical abuse to former players and an assistant coach.

The team will move on from Marshall after a 14-year stint including an undefeated regular 2013-14 season and a Final Four appearance in 2013.

Assistant coach Isaac Brown will take over as the interim head coach. Brown is in his 19th season overall at the Division I level, having also served as an assistant at Louisiana Tech (2011-14), Arkansas State (2010-11), Arkansas (2007-10) and South Alabama (2002-07).
