The South Central Border League has updated its league policy regarding COVID-19 to allow for participants only through December 19th.
The league, which consists of schools such as Sedan, Cedar Vale and West Elk, is making the move with the goal of maintaining in-person instruction for students, while still allowing kids to participate in the winter season of school activities.
Parents and legal guardians will be considered participants for attendance as long as all policies are followed, including the requirement to wear a mask. Events will still be streamed for spectators. No food or drinks will be allowed in facilities, nor will concession stands be open. The league will revisit the policy at the end of December.
