ICC's Dalger To Continue Career at Tulsa

An Independence Community College Pirate will continue his athletic career close to home. Tim Dalger, a returning sophomore from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, signed a letter of intent to continue his career at the University of Tulsa.

Dalger averaged 11 points per game in 29 appearances during his freshman campaign, and dropped a season high 29 points against conference rival Cowley. The winger started in 15 games and averaged 20 minutes per game. Dalger will play the 2020-2021 season with the Pirates, before joining Tulsa for the 2021-2022 season. He will be classified as a junior for that season.

The Golden Hurricane posted a 21-10 overall record last season and finished 13-5 in the American Athletic Conference. Tulsa also announced on Wednesday the signing of Gavyn Elkamil out of Link Year Prep. Elkamil hails from the SEK area, being from Pittsburg, Kansas.
