The undefeated Sedan Blue Devils will be the focus of our upcoming Game of the Week.

Sedan is 8-0 on the season, with a perfect 5-0 district record and a 4-0 record in the South Central Border League. The team finished up its regular season last Friday but last took to the field on October 16 for a 60-12 win over Cedar Vale-Dexter. 

The Blue Devils received the #1 seed in District 1 and will face District 2's #4 seed, Oxford, for its Week 9 matchup. Oxford is 2-6 on the season and has dropped its last two, including losses to Central Burden and Chase County.  The Wildcats lost to West Elk earlier in the season, and also hold a narrow victory over common opponent Flinthills. 

The winner of Thursday's Sedan-Oxford matchup will move on to face the winner of D2 #2 Chase County and D1 #3 Cedar-Vale Dexter.
