Emporia Fires Head Football Coach Over Abuse Allegations

Emporia High School has fired their head football coach Corby Milleson over allegations of physical and verbal abuse, according to KSNT.

The Emporia Board of Education made the decision during their meeting Wednesday night to fire Milleson who has been the head coach since 2014.

Former player Colton Bieker spoke out about the abuse and discussed that Milleson would exploit information about his father to bully him during practices. He has also abused the players by throwing objects such as clipboards and practice schedules at them, shoving them, and using profanities.

Milleson will still be paid for the remainder of the season, but his contract has been eliminated. Emporia is set to take on Manhattan High School this Friday.
