Chiefs Sign Le'Veon Bell to 1-Year Deal

The Chiefs bolstered their already high-powered offense, signing former Jets running back Le'Veon Bell to a one-year deal.

Bell was released by the Jets earlier this week, ending a tumultous tenure with the team that saw him butt heads with head coach Adam Gase several times.

The Chiefs are are currently ranked 13th (119 yards per game) in the league in rushing, with rookie Clyde Edwards-Helaire receiving most of the work. Darrel Williams, Darwin Thompson and DeAndre Washington are all also on the current roster.

Per league protocols, Bell will have to go through five days of COVID-19 testing before he is allowed to join the team, meaning he will not be available for Monday night's game against the Bills.
