Erie has dropped its last four games, but head coach Eddie Kearns is still looking at the positives. The Red Devils lost to Riverton 64-28, a game that puts Erie at 1-4 for the season. Kearns said his team performed well offensively, but simply gave up too many plays to keep themselves in the game. He said defense will be the focus this week, as the Red Devils look to stop Fredonia.

The Yellow Jackets took home a victory in last week's Game of the Week, a 35-20 victory over Wilson County rival Neodesha. Friday's game between Erie and Fredonia will not be broadcast, but you can catch the full interview with Coach Kearns each Thursday at 9:30 a.m, on 690AM, KGGF.
