The Caney Valley Bullpups will look to improve to 2-0 on the season as they will make a second consecutive trip to Wilson County to take on the winless Neodesha Blue Streaks.

 

Caney Valley's running game was the story last Friday as the Pups amassed nearly 300 yards of offense on the ground in a 32-14 win over Fredonia. Baylor Thornton carried the load with 122 yards on 22 carries and touching the end zone twice. Brec Williams made his first start at quarterback by going 2-2 for 39 yards and tossing a touchdown while rushing for over 100 yards and picking up another touchdown.

 

Eureka downed Neodesha last week by a score of 47-18. Running back Phoenix Carpenter led the Neodesha attack by picking up 65 yards while Andrew Harrell ran for a touchdown and picked up a second by returning an interception for 47 yards.
