The Kansas City Chiefs have come to terms with quarterback Jordan Ta'amu, one of the emerging stars of the upstart XFL league. Ta'amu was one of the premier QBs of the league, completing 72% of his passes and crossing the 1,000-yard mark during the shortened season. He threw for 12 touchdowns and was only picked off twice.
Ta'amu will be expected to compete for the backup role behind Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs also recently signed Chad Henne to a two-year deal.
