K-State Drops 8th Straight Game

Kansas State men's basketball took their 8th straight loss on Tuesday night at #2 Baylor, 85-66. It was the Bears' most lobsided win this season inside conference play.

Baylor (25-2, 14-1) jumped out to an 11-2 lead in the first five minutes and never looked back. K-State (9-19, 2-13) trailed by as many as 28 in the first half and allowed Baylor to score 50 first half points.

K-State has not won since late January and they have lost all of their conference road games this season. Cartier Diarra led the Wildcats in scoring with 19 points. The Bears were led in scoring by Matthew Mayer with a career high 19.

Up next for K-State is a date at home against #1 Kansas on Saturday afternoon. Tip off is scheduled for 12:30 and the game is televised on CBS. Pregame will begin at 11:30 AM on the Mighty 690 KGGF, your home for K-State athletics.
