It wasn't the highest scoring affair, but Kansas got the job done on Wednesday, defeating West Virginia 58-49.
The Jayhawks actually trailed 30-24 at the half, as the 14th-ranked Mountaineers played the defense they've become known for over the 2019-20 season. However, it was Kansas who bunkered down when it mattered, first catching up to West Virginia and then scoring the last nine points of the game to get the victory. Devon Dotson led the Jayhawks with 15 points, with 11 of those points coming in the second half.
Kansas improves to 21-3 on the season and 10-1 in the Big 12 Conference. A home meeting with Oklahoma comes next, with tip-off at 11:00 this Saturday. As always, you can catch all Kansas Jayhawks basketball games on 104.1 KGGF.
