K-State Tops Oklahoma on Wednesday Night

 

The Kansas State men's basketball team picked up their 2nd Big 12 win of the season as they defeated Oklahoma on Wednesday night, 61-53. 

 

K-State (9-11, 2-5) led the majority of the game and had a 16 point lead with six minutes left but Oklahoma (13-7, 3-4) went on a run to pull within four before the Wildcats were able to hold off for the win. 

 

Mike McGuirl led the way for K-State scoring 16 points while OU was led in scoring by Alondes Williams with 15. OU head coach Lon Kruger drops to 0-8 vs. Bruce Weber in Manhattan. 

 

Up next for K-State, the Wildcats begin a tough two game stretch and it starts on Saturday as they travel to #12 West Virginia for a 1:00 start time before hosting #1 Baylor on Monday night.
