The five seed Field Kindley faced off against the one seed Mannford in the semifinals of the Ty Hewitt Memorial Tournament. A slow start for the Nado put them in a hole quick as there first bucket didn't come until almost halfway through the first quarter. Good defense would keep them in it as the first quarter would end 10-6 with a Pirates lead. Mannford would rack up the second chance points and got hot from beyond the arc in the second to extend their first half lead 28-15 heading into halftime. The Nado never stopped fighting and after a good third quarter they were down 32 - 26. Mannford prove to be just too much for them though and would come away with the victory 47-37. 
 

It's a rematch of last years third place game as Coffeyville takes on Oologah in the third place game on Saturday at 5:30.
