With a 3-4 night that included 2 home runs and 6 RBI's, Merrifield was making his case for the All Star Team. Merrifield is the current MLB leader in hits with 93 and he's last year's reigning hits leader. Shortstop Adalberto Mondesi also leads the majors with 8 triples and 27 stolen bases. Jorge Soler is second in the American Leage in home runs with 20, extra base hits with 37 and RBI's with 52.
