Kansas authorities are searching for a man who walked away from a state-operated treatment facility in Larned on Thursday.

The Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for public assistance in locating 59-year-old Kevin James Snyder, who reportedly left the Sexual Predator Treatment Program on the campus of Larned State Hospital during the early morning hours of November 5th.

Snyder is described as 5-foot-11 and weighing approximately 225 pounds. Surveillance footage last showed him walking east on West 14th Street in Larned around 5:40 Thursday morning.

Authorities are asking anyone who may have seen Snyder or has information about his whereabouts to contact the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office at 620-285-2211.
