Humboldt Presented with Tourism Grant

Humboldt is receiving a $10,000 grant to help promote the community as a tourism destination.

A Bolder Humboldt and the City of Humboldt were selected as recipients of a Kansas Tourism and Marketing Grant announced by Lieutenant Governor and Commerce Secretary David Toland.

The funding is part of more than $117,000 awarded to 18 communities across Kansas to expand tourism marketing, reach new audiences and attract visitors. The 18 grant recipients will also contribute nearly $244,000 in matching funds toward their projects.

Toland says tourism generated $8.4 billion in visitor spending across Kansas in 2025, supporting local businesses, jobs and communities.

State tourism officials say the grants will help communities showcase their attractions and encourage more people to explore Kansas.
