The Wilson County Commission approves several expenditures and personnel matters during its latest meeting.

Commissioners approved a pay increase for one county employee who recently completed his introductory period. They also approved a landfill fee waiver for the City of Fredonia for the demolition of three properties.

The commission approved a $15,000 purchase of a bridge decking riveter gun for the Road and Bridge Department.

Other business included a discussion with the Kansas Division of Property Valuation about county property assessments. County Clerk Kayla Busch also updated the commission on early voting numbers.

The next meeting of the Wilson County Commission is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, at 9am at the courthouse in Fredonia.
