Severe weather is possible across the four-state area as we go into the afternoon and evening hours.
Scattered thunderstorms will bring a chance of large hail, strong wind gusts and a few tornadoes.
Timing is expected between 2 and 11 p.m. Storms will develop across southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma and then start spreading eastward by 7 p.m. Currently, the area most likely to see severe weather is south-central Kansas and north-central Oklahoma.
KGGF will provide severe weather coverage tonight if needed.
