The USD 445 Director of Indian Education earns national recognition.

Erin Lee has been named the recipient of the National Johnson-O'Malley Association Exemplary Program of the Year Award for Region Three-B.

The award recognizes outstanding Johnson-O'Malley programs that support Native American students through partnerships between tribal education departments and school districts.

Lee has also been invited to attend the National Johnson-O'Malley Association Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, in December where she will be recognized on stage and formally accept the award.

The recognition celebrates Lee's work supporting Native American students and highlights the importance of partnerships between tribal education programs and local schools.
