Coffeyville’s military banner program is already collecting names for next year.

The program features 160 banners honoring local military members, exceeding its original goal of 150. Coffeyville’s Reawakening Denise York says the credit goes to Jerry Wall for the idea.

This year’s banners are complete, but families interested in a future banner can visit coffeyvillemilitarybanners.org. The Coffeyville Area Community Foundation can also help connect families with Wall by calling (620)251-4769. A presentation recognizing the banners is planned for Monday at 10:00am in the parking lot behind Pete’s.
