An emergency siren test is scheduled for Wednesday morning in Coffeyville.

CVR Energy plans to test their community emergency alert system starting at 9:00am. The test includes a facility evacuation drill. Sirens will sound for one minute, followed by a voice announcement. An “all clear” announcement will follow the drill.

The sirens are located west of Linden Street between 4th and 5th streets, and at 1st and Maple streets. The test depends on safe weather conditions. If severe weather threatens, it will be postponed.
