Crawford County emergency crews respond to three crashes, including two that send people to the hospital.
Fire District One reports earlier this week, two vehicles collided nearly head-on at Highway 69 and West Quincy Street. Firefighters performed minor extrication, and EMS transported one person to Mercy Pittsburg. Yesterday afternoon, on South 220th Street, a vehicle left the road, crossed a residential yard and struck a detached garage. The driver was transported with suspected minor injuries. The garage sustained minor damage.
Fire District Four responded to a rollover at South Highway 7 and 590th Avenue around 10:00pm yesterday. Crews say the vehicle appeared to roll several times before landing upright in a field. One patient refused care, and no other injuries were reported. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to all three crashes.
