The Nowata Police Department is adding two new patrol trucks to its fleet thanks to a donation.

The department announced the purchase of two new patrol vehicles, made possible through funding provided by the A.E. and Juanita Richardson Charitable Foundation. According to the department, the foundation donated 100% of the funding needed to purchase both vehicles, allowing the department to expand its fleet without using local funds for the purchase.

The new trucks will help officers continue serving the Nowata community safely and efficiently. Nowata PD says the appreciate the Richardson Foundation for its generosity and continued support of local law enforcement and the community.
