Caney FFA members qualify for state competition in two events following a contest in Fredonia.

The Caney FFA Horse Judging A team finished third overall to qualify for state. Andyn Miller led the team with a fifth-place individual finish, followed by Jarrett Hodges in ninth, Piper Perkins in 11th and AnnaMarie Dixon in 14th. Addalyn Parker also competed for the team. The Horse Judging B team finished sixth overall, with Peter Brubaker placing 12th individually and Abi Benfer finishing 15th.

In Milk Quality, Caney's A team finished second to earn a spot at state. Hadley Fields placed third individually, Allyson Wade finished fifth and Nadaley Gulick took eighth. Brooke Gaff and Alex Theiss also competed. Caney's Nursery Landscape B team finished sixth overall. Team members included Cambree Lukens, Harper Stallsmith, Neve Seger, Charli Bush and Kenzee Drye.
