Parsons police arrest two for suspected burglary.

 

The incident occurred on October 5th in the 900 block of South 16th Street in Parsons. P-P-D officers responded to the scene, canvassed the area, collected evidence, and conducted interviews to identify potential suspects.

 

The investigation led to a search warrant for a residence on Appleton Avenue. Officers searched the home and arrested 39-year-old Jake Cervantes and 62-year-old Roxena Barger. Both have been charged with burglary and theft in the case.

 

Formal charges were submitted to the Labette County Attorney's Office for review and prosecution. The case remains ongoing.
