A 77-year-old Afton, OK, man has died following a single-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

 

Troopers identified the man as James Fuser. Authorities say Fuser was driving southbound on County Road South 520 near East 230 Road when his vehicle left the roadway to the left.

 

The vehicle then crossed three barbed-wire fences before striking an embankment.

 

The crash occurred at approximately one p.m. Fuser was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

 

The Highway Patrol reports Fuser died as a result of a medical event. No additional information about the circumstances surrounding the crash was immediately available.
