Fire crews in Wilson County respond to a grass fire just south of Neodesha.
The call came in around 6pm on Saturday night, calling crews to a location on Pratt Road near the Fall River. Upon arrival, firefighters found a grass fire in progress. Responders were able to bring the blaze under control and extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire was determined to be an arc from a broken ground wire on a nearby power pole.
No injuries were reported. Crew from Neodesha Fire and Wilson County Rural Fire worked the call.
