Cherryvale Reminds Residents: RVs Not Permanent Housing

 

The City of Cherryvale is reminding residents that RVs, campers and travel trailers may not be used as permanent residences outside of am approved RV park.

 

The requirement is meant to ensure compliance with the City's minimum housing codes, zoning regulations, and health and safety requirements. Exceptions may be made if the residents secures the proper permit.

 

According to the City, the reason for the requirement is to make sure residents are living in adequate housing with water, a sanitary sewer, and other services in order to maintain habitable living conditions.
