A dispute between campers at Marvel Park leaves one man injured and a woman under arrest.

The Parsons Police Department says they responded to the campground around 9:00am Wednesday morning. PPD says Anna Stemple struck a neighboring camper’s forearm with a large flashlight after he raised his arm to protect himself. Police also say she pushed another person and damaged the man’s vehicle with the flashlight.

The man was evaluated by EMS at the scene and released. Stemple was taken into custody without further incident and booked into the Labette County Jail on suspicion of aggravated battery and criminal damage to property.
