The Nowata County Commissioners have a regular meeting scheduled for today.

 

The commissioners will discuss two bids for county property, a federal emergency relief project for District Two from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation , the county road machinery and equipment revolving fund for the new fiscal year and 3-month temporary budget appropriations for the 2026-27 fiscal year.

 

The board will also discuss dues for the National Association of Counties membership, improvements to the courthouse, the county certification map and county action report and hear an update from Emergency Manager Laurie Summers.

 

Monday’s meeting begins at 9am at the Nowata County Annex Meeting Room, on North Maple Street in downtown Nowata.
