The Montgomery County Commission approves an amendment to the county’s agreement with the Bartlett soybean facility

 

The change was made in order to recognize the realignment of the Bartlett facility into the processing plant and the refining plant. County Appraiser Melody Kikkert says the change does not affect any other part of the original agreement.

 

In other business at Monday’s meeting, commissioners accepted the resignation of Jason Niemier from his position as Director of the Montgomery County Health Department and authorized the search for an interim director.

 

Commissioners also made some changes to the public comment portion of the meetings, moving them from the end of the meeting to the beginning, while also instituting a 3-minute time limit for speakers.
