The Caney City Council approves a series of expenses during last night's meeting, including payments for waste collection, electricity, personnel expenses and an invoice from Main Street Auto. 

 

In other business, the council approves a request from the Cub Scouts to block off the 100 block of North Fawn Street, between 4th and 3rd streets, for mobile races. 

 

The event is scheduled for September 26 and would require the street to be closed from 8 a.m. to noon, with hay bales placed along each side of the road. 

 

The next Caney City Council meeting will be on Monday, October 5, at 6:30 p.m.
