A Saturday morning car accident near Altoona leaves one woman injured.

78-year-old Vickie Lee Winans of Buffalo received minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of US-75 and K-47 just before noon on Saturday. Winans was a passenger in a 2019 Nissan Rogue that was traveling southbound on US-75 when a second vehicle failed to yield at s stop sign on K-47. The Rogue struck the other vehicle on its passenger side and then overturned. Winans was taken to Wichita’s Welsey Medical Center for treatment.

Neither driver was injured in the accident.
