The Humanities Project from Coffeyville Community College welcomes award-winning songwriter Rupert Wates to the Spencer Rounds Theater .
London-born musician Rupert Wates has been making music for nearly 30 years and in that time he has earned over 50 awards for his work. He plays an average of 120 shows a year across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. His music is an eclectic blend of acoustic folk music combined with elements of jazz, vaudeville, and cabaret. He has released twelve solo albums, each earning critical acclaim.
Wates will perform tomorrow night in the Spencer Rounds Theater on the CCC campus. The concert begins at 6:30. Admission is free.
