The U.S. House of Representatives passes the Farm Bill.

Kansas Senator Jerry Moran applauded his colleagues in the House for advancing the bill to the next step. Moran is a member of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry and says the bill provides certainty for Kansas ranchers and farmers.

The Farm Bill includes Kansas priorities such as year-round E-15 sales, increasing Farm Service Agency Loan limits, and the Rural Hospital Revitalization Act.

The bill now moves to the U.S. Senate for consideration.
