The Altamont City Council makes quick work of business at this week's special meeting.
On Monday night, council members approved changes to city ordinance 672 for special assessments. City Administrator LeeAnn Myers says the changes will allow the City to cover expenses associated with code enforcement.
Monday's meeting was held after last week's regular meeting was canceled. Myers says the change resulted in the City moving the date of an scheduled public hearing.
The next regular meeting of the Altamont City Council is set for September 24.
