The city of Columbus lifts its burn ban.
The city-wide burn ban was lifted on Monday after the recent rainfall in the area. The Columbus Fire Department continues to monitor conditions, paying close attention to the weather, wind and dry conditions in the event that a burn ban may need to be put back in place. Officials ask that residents continue to use caution and good judgment in regards to outdoor burning.
