Neodesha City Commission to Meet Today

The Neodesha City Commission will meet today and consider finalizing an agreement with Labette Health regarding an ambulance that was damaged and taken out of service.

The agreement settles the loss of a Neodesha-owned ambulance that was being leased by Labette Health. After the ambulance was declared a total loss, Travelers Insurance paid Neodesha just over $129,000. The agreement closes out claims related to the vehicle and reduces Labette Health's leased ambulance fleet from three to two, while leaving the rest of the existing agreement unchanged. In other business, commissioners will consider a new appointment to the library board.

Today's meeting begins at 4pm in the Commission Room at Neodesha's City Hall. The public is invited to attend. The meeting will also be recorded for later viewing on the Neodesha Facebook page.
