Dove hunting season is underway across Kansas.
The season for mourning and white-winged dove continues through November 29th. The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks sets a daily bag limit of 15 dove in any combination, with a possession limit of 45. Most hunters are required to carry a valid Kansas hunting license and register for the state’s Harvest Information Program, commonly known as H-I-P.
Hunters using public land should also check posted regulations because some state wildlife areas require non-toxic shot or have additional restrictions. Complete regulations and public hunting locations are available through the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.
